"Twins with different Skin color born"

For the second time, a mixed race couple in England is again celebrating the birth of twins who have a different skin color. In 2001, Dean Durrant (who is black) and Alison Spooner (who is white) had twin daughters, with one looking just like Durrant and one just like Spooner. Seven years later, Spooner gave birth to another pair of twin girls, and again, one infant has the same skin color as her father and the other baby takes after her mother."I was shocked when I first found out I was pregnant with twins again -- but I never thought for one second they would turn out the same as last time," The chances of giving birth to a second set of twins with different skin colors are 1 in 500,000.

"4 year old shoots babysitter, cops say"

Police say a four year old boy in Ohio shot his babysitter because the sitter accidentally stepped on the boy's foot. Police are saying the sitter, 18 yr old Nathan Beavers and a few other teenagers were babysitting several young children in a mobile home on Sunday when the shooting happened. A witness told police the four year old retrieved the shotgun from a bedroom closet and shot Beavers. The child was supposedly angry because Beavers accidentally stepped on the child's foot. Beavers was only hospitalized with minor pellot wounds in his side and arm. Another teen was also injured with shotgun pellots. This is still under investigation and the child has not been charged.

"Tuna Fetches $100,000 at Auction"

Two sushi bar owners paid more than one hundred thousand dollars for a Japanese bluefin tuna at a fish auction in Tokyo on Monday, several times the average price and the highest price in nearly a decade.
The 282- pound premium tuna caught off the northern coast of Oma fetched $104,700. In 2001 another Japanese bluefin tuna brought an all-time record of 20 million yen.
The cost of the tuna came out to be about $370 per pound.
"It was the best tuna of the day, but the price shot up because of the shortage of domestic bluefin," Yoshida said, citing rough weather at the end of December. The usual tuna prices at Tokyo fish markets are less than $25 per pound, but bluefin tuna is considered by gourmets to be the best, and when sliced up into small pieces and served on rice it goes for very high prices in restaurants.

A store worker also reported hearing a loud pop. Bell was treated at a near by hospital. The 66 year old man carrying the weapon was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm. He later told police "he had never carried the .25-caliber pistol in public before and didn't know he needed a permit."

"Police search for mother, sister of wandering girl"

A mother and her two young daughters have been hiding in a pit dug in the sand beneath a beach playgroup for at least two weeks. They often went without food, police reported Friday.
"They could hear the kids playing and laughing while they were underneath them," said a Fort Lauderdale police spokeswoman. The woman being sought by police, Tammy Kongkham,35, dug a hole in the sand under the playground where the three were able to hide without being seen. They were unable to stand or sit up, being that their home was only a few feet high. The mom would only leave when she would go to get food, but they would go days without eating. A police officer found one of the daughters begging for food at the Galleria Mall in Ft.Lauderdale on December 4. The girl told investigators she was 18 and waiting for her family to arrive from New Jersey. After she was investigated further, she told them about her missing mom and sister and led them to the playground that she called home.
The mother has been on the run since she took her girls from a Philadelphia foster home. Officials are not sure why she brought them here to South Florida, but it is said she was unfit to take care of her children.
The mother, Tammy Kongkham, faces unlawful flight to face prosecution with the FBI, kidnapping charges in Philadelphia, and a child abuse charge in Fort Lauderdale, authorities said.
